MN Gov. Walz has appointed " Jodi Harpstead — currently the CEO of Lutheran Social Services — to be commissioner of the Department of Human Services." ( Star Tribune ) The Minnesota Department of Human Services has been rocked by a Somali Daycare Scandal ($100 Mil. scam) and an even more expensive adult care services scam. People have been resigning, but no one punished. Don't even ask where MN Attorney General Keith Ellison is. So what's the beef? Lutheran Social Services along with Catholic Charities are responsible for bringing over 50,000 (80,000 by some sources)  Somali refugees to Minnesota. Many of them end up on public assistance and it was the Somali community that defrauded the State of over $100,000,000 in day care funds. Besides public assistance fraud, the FBI says MN is now the terror recruitment capital of the US. This Labor Day keep in mind the old DFL, (Democratic, Farmer, Labor) Party has abandoned Labor. Most Americans work to support their families and increase their standard of living. For years Minnesota's DFL Party claimed to be the champions of the blue collar worker.  No more. Governor Dayton has shown the hand of the entire party. Do not forget as we hit the election season that Governor Dayton vetoed the Tax Conformity Bill last session. This means while most of the country benefits from President Trump's tax cuts, many Minnesotans won't! According to the Duluth Tribune , "An estimated 800,000 Minnesotans are expected to end up paying up to $850 million in extra taxes."  Nationally many Democrats are running on repealing tax cuts and increasing taxes. You would think in light of the Janus decision, which allows public employees to quit their unions, those unions would at least try to serve their members. But no, too many decades of ignoring members for politicians apparently can't be stopped. The AFLCIO just endorsed Keith Ellison for Minnesota Attorney General. Even though thousands of AFLCIO members work as Corrections Officers and Police, they chose to endorse a candidate that is anti-law enforcement and an abuser of women, which last time I checked about half of the AFLCIO are women! The good news is, as members quit their public employee unions the endorsement means less and less. Why? Because very soon there will be no money to give the candidates!

Keith Ellison, known for his ties to CAIR and Louis Farrakhan, has found the perfect replacement for his Minnesota 5th District Congressional seat, I give you Ilhan Omar The Washington Times is reporting that MN Democratic State Rep Ilhan Omar improperly accepted $2,500 in speaking fees from an organization that lobbies at the legislature and some  GOP members are demanding she pay it back. There is already controversy as she has named two different men as her husband. One rumored to be her brother, and another allegedly to help his immigration status! ( Star Tribune ). Like Ellison, she is no stranger to putting out misleading information to the public either, like during last years protest bill debate. And just like former President Barack Obama, she also hails from Kenya and thinks Trump is a racist ! They really can't find anyone more qualified? Really?

Minnesota 5th District Congressman Keith Ellison is planning on stepping down from Congress to take a more direct role in the terror pipeline in Minnesota.
